Therapy for Young Adults

Being an adult is… a lot. Especially when you're carrying deep emotions or old wounds that still sting.

Maybe you thought things would feel easier by now. That the stuff you dealt with growing up would just quietly fade away. Or maybe you’re feeling stuck, unsure of what you even want from life, and wondering if you’re the only one struggling.

Here’s the truth: you don’t have to go through it alone. You don’t have to white-knuckle your way forward.

Therapy can help.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or lost. You’re not broken—you’re human. Life rarely follows a neat timeline, and healing definitely doesn’t happen on one. Together, we can sort through the noise, get to the heart of what’s going on, and start shaping a life that actually feels like yours.

What Therapy Can Offer

Therapy gives you a space that’s fully yours—somewhere to unpack the hard stuff without judgment, pressure, or the need to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll sort through what’s weighing on you, explore the patterns that might be keeping you stuck, and find ways to move forward that actually feel doable.

Whether you're navigating family dynamics, school or career stress, relationship challenges, or just trying to figure out who you are and what you want, therapy can help bring clarity. We’ll build practical tools for managing emotions, deepen your self-understanding, and work toward creating a life that feels more aligned, more connected, and more like you.

Approach

My approach to therapy begins with deep listening and genuine understanding. I know that reaching out for support takes courage and my goal is to make that courage feel truly worthwhile. In our first few sessions, I’ll take time to get to know you, validate your experiences, and understand what life feels like for you right now. Together, we’ll explore how therapy can support your healing and growth. From there we will create a collaborative treatment plan to map out our focus for therapy.

With specialized training and experience in treating depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, I take a DBT-informed approach to our work. This means I focus on blending true validation of your current reality while also helping you to make the needed changes in your life. I will teach you tangible coping skills and guide you in actually applying them. I will encourage you to make meaningful changes in your life - whether that’s helping you step outside of your comfort zone or helping you speak more kindly to yourself.

Young adulthood can be an exciting and overwhelming time—full of transitions, questions, and pressure to have it all figured out. I help young adults navigate this season with compassion and clarity. Whether you're feeling weighed down by sadness, anxiety, or a complicated relationship with food and body image, therapy can offer a safe and supportive space to begin untangling those challenges. You don’t have to do this alone.

It’s okay not to have it all figured out.

If you’re ready to explore what’s next, I’m here to learn with you.
